When I enter my eCentral username and password I get the following message: “Your login attempt was not successful.  Please try again.”  What should I do? 

Confirm that you are correctly entering your eCentral username (firstname.lastname) and password.

Once you’ve confirmed that you are entering the correct information, please complete and submit a trouble ticket by clicking on the Need Help? tab at the top of your dashboard page OR clicking on the made a mistake? link in blue at the bottom of the dashboard.

Please include your full name, ECC email address, subject, and a description of your problem.

 


 

What if one or more of my courses are not on the list, the system lists a course that I dropped, or a course is listed that I have never taken?

The evaluations listed are for courses that are almost complete. For example, if you are taking an 8wk course and a 16wk course, evaluations for the 16wk course will not be available yet. Additionally, not all courses are evaluated.

 

Do not evaluate a dropped course or a course that you’ve never taken - No further action required. 

 


 

The wrong instructor is listed for the course I am evaluating. 

Complete the evaluation and note the name of the correct instructor in the “Comments” section of the evaluation.  Please place three asterisks (***) in the comment, so that it will be recognized as an incorrect instructor.

 


 

What if I need to redo my evaluation because I evaluated the wrong course or the wrong instructor?

Please complete and submit a trouble ticket by clicking on the Need Help? tab at the top of your dashboard OR clicking on the made a mistake? link in blue at the bottom of your dashboard. We may need to reset the evaluation.

 

However, if the evaluation is closed, we will be unable to assist.

Once an evaluation session has closed it may not be reopened for any reason.

 


 

What should I do if I cannot complete the evaluation because I got stuck on one of the pages and could not go back or continue no matter what I clicked on? 

This is more than likely happening because you do not have "cookies" or JavaScript enabled in your web browser.

Can my instructor see my results?  

NO! All student responses to evaluations are completely anonymous unless you identify yourself in the comment box.

Your eCentral username and password cannot be seen by instructors or administrators in association with your evaluation(s).

 


 

How will you use my eCentral username and password? 

Your eCentral username and password are used for identity verification only.

Additionally, your eCentral username and password are not gathered in the evaluation but stored in a separate database, and therefore, cannot be associated with the ratings or comments you make.

 


 

Can I get confirmation that I completed my evaluation(s)? 

YES! A confirmation email is automatically sent to your ECC email after submission of a survey.

OR

Click on the green checkmark next to the submitted evaluation on your Evaluations Dashboard and a confirmation email will be sent to your ECC email after submission of a survey.

OR

Print your Evaluation Summary Page as proof of evaluation completion and submission.

  


 

Can I evaluate a course that is already closed? 

 NO! Once an evaluation session has closed it may not be re-opened for any reason.

 


 

What should I do if the evaluation site does not work? 


It may be the internet browser you are using. You may experience trouble accessing the site if you are using an outdated web browser.

Try to access the site by using:

Mozilla Firefox version 18.0 or later

Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7.0 or later

Google Chrome version 23 or later
